Beloved of God, understand that these great thinkers of God's ideal are true interpreter of God's moral rules of duties.
However their inability to over some of the ultra-delusive temptation that flooded their life doesnt mitigate the ema ting, purifying, justifying, sanctifying, conservating power of their preaching if we strictly adhere to their preaching.
A vivid example of the above notion is wrap-up in 1king chapters 13 and 14.

He who promise these things is most holy and faithful to His promise, He must fulfill all He said at due time with irresistable power and supreme authority.
